How can we prevent our bathroom sink from clogging up again?

We have some really hairy people in our house. As a result, a great deal of hair may be getting down the pipes. (It ***** nard).
I can only speculate as to the reasons why the bathroom sink keeps getting clogged up (aside from the aforementioned problem)- but it does, dude. This happens once every two months or so.
How can we keep the drain cleaned, and help prevent the sink from getting backed up yet again?
Enough, show me the money!
Plumbing: Does a drain for a bathroom sink have to approach from the back of the sink?

OR can I re-route the drain to enter from the side?
My bathroom sink is located in a corner with the back to an outside wall. The builders installed the the drain pipe to come up through an interior wall to the right hand side and turn the corner 90 degrees to get into the outside wall so that the drain could approach the sink from the back. This sink clogs constantly due to all the angles - I have to remove the trap and clean the pipe in the wall every four months and the smell from the pipe clog is horrible, like straight sewer gas. I would like to know that if I tear off the drywall and route the drain to come from the interior wall straight to the drain, to remove the 90 degree turn in the outside wall, if it would still meet code?

the house was built in 1979 and I don’t know what they were thinking when they did this.

How to stop bathroom sink faucet handles from corroding and squeaking?

My bathroom sink faucets have been squeaky for a long time and a little harder than normal to turn. They recently, within the last few months, have been corroding on the underside part. Is there any cleaner i can use or what can i do to stop this? And what do i use to make them not squeak and turn easier? WD40?? lol i dunno. Am I gonna have to replace them? Please help.

I am getting an earthy smell from my main bathroom sink drain. House is 2 years old. How do I get rid of it?

Out of the blue, my main bathroom that guests primarily use starting having an earthy smell coming from the sink drain. It’s on the main floor, and there are no floors above it (in other words, not another sink above it). I examined the plumbing under the sink, and everything seems to be in working order, no leaks, trap is in good shape, etc.
What should I do here?

Bathroom Sink?

We are an apartment of NYC artists (i.e. we’re very poor) We have a problem in our bathroom sink, it keeps clogging . . we’ve tried Liquid Drano seveal times but it never works compleatly . . . what can we do to unclog our sink? remember we’re very poor!
ALSO:
the rubber stopper in our toilet doesn’t fit right and never stops the water, so every time we flush we have to manually put the rubber stopper over the water pipe in the tank . . . what can we do?

Fist off, we’re not F*cking iditos, alright . . . I’m asking here because everything else we’ve tried hasn’t worked . . .(including asking the landlord, which btw is the only other tenant in our 3 story building who’s never here protected by NYC rental laws which are a bit different than kansas dipSH*T’s) and I mention we’re artists bcause we’re poor, not unemployed but poor . . . it’s a bit more expensive to live in the heart of NYC than it is in St. Louis . . .
WHICH is why I’m resorting to asking here because if nothing else has worked then I’ll try something else . . . if you can’t respect that, then don’t answer!!~!!!!!
